Our milkman’s son, John William, and his girlfriend Bridget, are visiting us for a few days before travelling on down through South Island in a Camper Van. As we are on school hols now we play tourists and visit Cape Reinga and 90 mile beach. The beach is mega and the bus drives along through (and in) the water!

On Easter Monday we managed a full day’s boat trip round the beautiful Bay of Islands. Here’s Mary going through the hole in Cape Brett. We saw dolphins and stingrays, had lunch and a swim at an island with an unpronouncable name, and (enviously) watched the crew catch fish.
