Trad Jazz

About an hour’s journey from where we live is Paihia, in the beautiful Bay of Islands, and this weekend they held a Jazz Festival. Held in about six hotels plus local coffee shops and bars there was an extraordinary number of bands on the menu. Stephen and I decided to make a weekend of it and booked ourselves and Lorraine and Robin into the Copthorne Hotel, which has fantastic views out over the bay and which was one of the main venues for the Festival.
