Snowy Mountains

Whee! – two weeks’ holiday and we are off down to South Island for a look round. Much against my better judgement we flew down to Christchurch, first of all in a 20-seater and then in a proper plane. Once again I survived! This was the view arriving at Christchurch with the snowy mountains peeping through the layer of fog that had stopped all earlier flights into Christchurch.
