Well, we haven’t actually named this ship but ‘patience’ comes to mind for a name. Finally, after much heartache, irritation and sheer devotion to detail, the kayak is on the water. In the background is Dwayne, who has been a companion kayak maker all the way through, sharing bits of wood and tin and glue and generally having a jolly good boys’ time of it. The maiden voyage is from Taipa to Mangonui which takes about two hours. (more…)
