The Calm after the Storm

Easter went by in a flash and we are nearly at the end of April – seems ages since we last did a weblog and we are certainly not bored here with all the jobs and activities. The weather is still good although we have had a couple of ‘rain bombs’ which caused widespread flooding in the far north – a result of global warming presumably – and more of this is to come it seems. The good news was that school was flooded and we got the day off! We took a walk along the beach; the weather pretty wild and blowy and the sea was covered in quivering foam…… (more…)
