The start in Auckland

Two days off school to enter an exciting race seemed like a good idea. Bruce invited me to join the crew of Simply Red. Mary said “Go for it!”.  School said “Well OK, just this once.”  So off we went. (more…)

School holidays again and we decide to take a trip to New Zealand’s capital, Wellington, testing all the transport options available as we go.  Here is a slightly blurred image from one of the stations on the way showing that NZ Rail has a non-ageist policy in force.
